Hailing from Philadelphia, New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal band Corners of Sanctuary (COS) formed in 2011 with a desire to bring back the sounds of Classic Heavy Metal to the modern music arena.

2012 marked the release of their debut album “Breakout”. Being well received, “Breakout” was listed in the Lithuanian publication Diovim as one of the Best CDs of 2012. With the marketing power of Pure Steel Records, Germany, “Breakout” was quickly followed up by “Harlequin”, releasing in January 2013. Later that same year, their third album “Axe to Grind” released under La Mazakuata Records, Mexico. In late 2014, Pure Steel Records re-released “Axe to Grind” in Europe. In September 2015, COS signed with Metalizer Records, Germany, for the release of their fourth full-length album “Metal Machine”. The album was mastered by famed producer and Death Dealer guitarist Stu “The Hammer” Marshall, and was met with worldwide critical acclaim delivering hits like “Wrecking Ball” and “Tomorrow Never Comes.”
